Medical West Hospital Authority in McCalla, AL is seeking an experienced RN for an internal contract in the 9-MEDSURG unit to provide high-quality patient care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote health and wellness and educate patients and families about health management.

The role requires a current Alabama RN license, BSN or equivalent degree, and BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Alabama.
• BSN or equivalent nursing degree.
• BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
