Job summary

Higher Call Health and Rehabilitation Center in Quapaw, OK is seeking an energetic Registered Nurse with a go-getter attitude to join our team on the night shift (6PM-6AM). A $3000 sign-on bonus is offered. The role focuses on delivering high-quality bedside care and ensuring resident safety.

Qualified candidates hold an Oklahoma RN license and a current BLS CPR card. One or more years in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Oklahoma RN license in good standing.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Provide wound care.
• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Ensure the residents' chart is current.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions. Notify appropriate parties of residents' change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess the condition of residents.
• Keep residents' family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health.
• Modify residents' care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Nurse Aide flow sheets in conjunction with residents' changes in condition.

As a nurse, you are the backbone of a strong clinical culture. The Licensed Nurse (RN) will help fulfill the care requirements of their patients and will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents.

Desired Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse License (RN)

Must have a current BLS CPR card

• One (1) or more years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care environment preferred.
