Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the North Naples 5th Floor unit to provide direct patient care and leadership in a private-room med-surg/ortho women’s service. The RN will plan, implement, and evaluate care per standards, educate patients, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
The role requires an active Florida RN (or APRN) license, BLS certification, and participation in RN Residency if applicable.

ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT At NCH The 5th Floor Ortho/Med-Surg Women’s unit is an all private room 32 bed unit at our North Naples campus that provides care to adults who are hospitalized with a wide variety of conditions, including general medical, orthopedics and women’s health. Our caregivers also prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-surgical care required until the time of discharge.

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care, policy, and procedure. Provides direct nursing care to patients, assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities. Participates in shared decision making, unit committee and quality improvement activities. Needs minimal supervision.

Education, Experience And Qualifications
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
All new to practice RN will be placed into the RN Residency Program.
Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
