Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 North unit (Night Shift) at Magnolia facility in Tampa. The RN will provide individualized nursing care to cancer patients and families on a 22-bed tele med-surg unit with private rooms, following ANA ethics and hospital guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of inpatient experience, medical-surgical RN background, and a Florida RN license (or multi-state privilege).

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience.
• Medical-Surgical RN experience.
• Current RN license in FL or multi-state privilege with FL as primary residence.

This 22‐bed tele med‐surg unit with all private rooms. Our patient population ranges from young adults to older adults, and we care for two specialty groups: NucRad patients, who receive IV nuclear medicine treatments for ocular melanoma and Brachy patients, who receive pinpointed radiation therapy and typically have a short length of stay.Overall, our patients are those undergoing treatment who’ve experienced a setback and need additional support.
