In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
The 2D Neuro unit specializes in providing exceptional, high-quality care to adult patients. Our team delivers personalized, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. We work closely as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, supported by dedicated providers and ancillary staff, to ensure outstanding outcomes for both patients and caregivers. Common neuroscience diagnoses include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), seizures and epilepsy, degenerative neurological disorders, autoimmune conditions, and other central nervous system disorders. As a certified Primary Stroke Center, we are recognized for delivering state-of-the-art stroke care and excellence in neuroscience nursing.
Self-Scheduling
Qualifications: Current Indiana or compact state RN license. BLS for healthcare provider required. ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire). NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
