Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for a pediatric patient in Fremont, Nebraska, in the patient’s home. The role offers full-time night shifts with hourly pay of $38 per hour.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating client care, administering medications, and coordinating discharge planning. RN license, health certificate, PPD/X-ray, and BLS are required; one year RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, and discharge planning.

Requirements

• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
