Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake in North Dakota is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

You will perform assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote recovery and well‑being for patients in a 25‑bed critical access hospital. The role emphasizes critical thinking, accurate data collection, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• ND State Board of Nursing current RN; licensed in ND or a compact state.
• Graduate Nurse must practice under supervision while authorization to practice is valid.
• Good communication skills are necessary in interactions with patients and families.
• Accountable for conduct and maintains confidentiality of patient information.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process within hospital policies.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify patient outcomes and complete holistic assessments.

Job Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• ND State Board of Nursing current RN. Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.
• Graduate Nurse (G.N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid.
• Good communication skills are necessary because of the constant communication, both oral and written with patients and families.
• Accountable for own conduct, promotes and supports working relationships amongst coworkers and all of the clinic staff. Maintains confidentiality of all patient information.

Preferred

• Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.

CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is a 25‑bed critical access hospital with a Level V Emergency Department that is available 24 hours a day. Our hospital has been committed to providing patients quality medical treatment in the Turtle Lake area and surrounding communities since 1952. Through the years, the hospital has sought to continually upgrade the quality and numbers of services it provides. The hospital's affiliation with major medical centers and health‑care agencies has allowed it to expand its health‑care services through a network that begins at the local level. CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is equipped with 2 emergency rooms, on‑site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing‑bed programs, and acute care services.

Incentive

We are offering a $20,000 employment incentive to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Pay Range

$33.36 - $48.05 /hour
