Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support in the operating room, ensuring safety and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will organize equipment, assist with perioperative management, and collaborate with physicians to meet patient needs and physician preferences.

Applicants should have RN licensure, 2+ years in OR or ambulatory surgery, and BLS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ambulatory surgery center or OR preferred.
• Ophthalmic procedures experience preferred but not required.
• RN license in state of residence with current BLS/ACLS per hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional relationships with physicians and patients, assessing satisfaction with services.
• Make sound nursing judgments based on nursing theory and practice.
• Document medical records legibly and concisely.
• Organize equipment, instruments, medications, and supplies for cases as per physician preferences.
• Provide perioperative nursing management and intervention during the operative period.
• Perform surgical prep per standard of care and surgeon preference.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
