Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or within five years of hire.
  • WA RN license or multi-state licensure endorsement required.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • Advanced Life Support may be required after hire depending on site.
  • Two years of RN experience preferred in a clinic setting; transition program for less experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate nursing care.
  • Independently triage patients in person, by phone, and via secure messages.
  • Apply critical thinking to decisions about patient care with relevant standards and data.
  • Deliver medical regimens as directed by physicians and APPs.
  • Delegate care tasks according to education, credentials and competence.
  • Collaborate with the clinic team to improve quality of care and patient experience.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients, families and health care team.
  • Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.

Position Summary

Responsibilities
  • Utilizes the nursing process as a systematic problem-solving approach to nursing care, facilitating an optimal level of functioning and health for the patient.
  • Independently triages patients in person, via telephone and secure messages, utilizing protocols, guidelines, and standards.
  • Uses critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, which includes knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data.
  • Uses assessment and analysis skills in delivering medical regimens as directed by physicians and APPs.
  • Delegates selected patient care functions to others in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
  • Collaborates with the clinic team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and stewardship.
  • Fosters a learning environment for patients, families, and all members of the health care team.
  • Advocates for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 25+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement
  • Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
  • Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi‐state licensure endorsement (MSL)
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire, depending on assigned clinic site
  • Two years of experience as a RN - in a clinic setting preferred
  • Candidates with less than two years' experience may be considered for Transition to Practice Program

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $45.62 - $65.66 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
