Job summary

HealthAlliance Hospital is seeking a perioperative nurse to organize and administer safe, individualized care during the perioperative period. The role emphasizes thorough assessment, observation, and timely nursing interventions within a surgical setting.

Ideal candidates will have a NYS RN license, BLS certification, and 2+ years of acute care experience; recent surgical experience is preferred. Flexibility to work across Health Alliance facilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 2 yrs of acute care experience preferred; recent surgical experience desired.
• Basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Demonstrates strong clinical skills/Valid NYS RN License.
• BLS Certification. AORN Certification desirable.
