Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks a security program professional to manage RMF-aligned activities for National Security computing environments within ARL. You will assist the ISSM in developing and maintaining RMF artifacts and enforcing JSIG requirements to sustain compliant, secure systems.

Responsibilities include IT government system support, RMF BoE development, and security auditing. The role requires Windows/Linux experience, policy expertise, and the ability to coordinate risk

Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• Three years information assurance experience in Windows/Linux systems or related area.
• Experience developing and implementing information assurance policy.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize projects.
• Experience supporting various system configurations.
• Experience auditing various OS and networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT government-owned systems support to ensure hardware, software, networks, and servers function correctly.
• Serve as technical POC for government systems and manage trouble tickets with government sponsor.
• Manage account administration for government-owned systems in ARL closed areas and track accounts.
• Develop and maintain RMF artifacts such as SSPs, SCTMs, and POA&Ms in accordance with JSIG.
• Conduct Information System audits and continuous monitoring to ensure sponsor compliance with JSIG.
