Job summary

Sanmina in Huntsville, Alabama seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) / System Administrator to lead cybersecurity and RMF compliance for DoD-related systems, providing accreditation, continuous monitoring, and risk management while supporting desktop and standalone environments.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in IT/cybersecurity, 3+ years in ISSO or similar roles, and hands-on RMF, SSP development, eMASS, Nessus, and Splunk expertise.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• 3+ years in ISSO or cybersecurity compliance roles.
• Experience with RMF, SSP development, and eMASS.
• DoD/DCSA accreditation experience and SSP development.
• CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT II/IAM I baseline cert.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SSPs and authorization artifacts for standalone and networked systems.
• Ensure RMF controls are implemented and loaded into eMASS.
• Conduct weekly security audits and log reviews; execute remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability scans using Nessus and coordinate patching.
• Apply STIGs across operating systems and apps.
• Create, track, and manage POA&Ms.
