Job summary

VetRamp is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Security Administrator to serve as a key cybersecurity compliance expert. You will evaluate and validate DoD DHA information systems against RMF requirements to support Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts.

Responsibilities include conducting SCAs, developing SAPs/SARs, and coordinating with ISSMs, ISSOs, and system owners to close findings and support POA&M efforts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, DoDI 8510.01, and eMASS workflows.
• Experience in cybersecurity compliance and control assessment.
• Microsoft Azure Hybrid Administrator or Windows Server certs
• Bachelor’s in IT/Cybersecurity or related field; DoD training incl. A-150 codes
• DoD/military training credentials (A-150-1980 / WSS 011/012) may apply

Responsibilities

• Conduct security control assessments using RMF and NIST guidelines.
• Develop SAPs and SARs with supporting documentation.
• Analyze control implementations and effectiveness across DHA systems.
• Coordinate with ISSMs, ISSOs, and system owners to track findings.
• Assist POA&M development and remediation efforts.
