Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the security authorization process for our systems and applications in compliance with NIST RMF and DoD regulations. This role will drive the RMF lifecycle, develop security documentation, perform risk assessments, and ensure our systems meet the highest security and compliance standards.

This position supports a hybrid schedule and may operate from any Dark Wolf Office location, including Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with security risk assessment and RMF in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Experience building authorization packages.
• US citizenship with an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the security authorization process to ensure NIST RMF compliance.
• Coordinate incident handling, reporting, and ongoing risk management.
• Enhance IT system and network defenses and provide usable security reports.
• Leverage tools to correlate data into actionable security events.
• Identify and implement automation to streamline cyber defense processes.
