Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to provide information assurance support at Hanscom AFB. The role is full-time and focuses on overseeing IA programs in compliance with DoD and USAF directives.

The analyst will manage security metrics, C&A support, and incident handling while ensuring secure configurations across systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT/support, a Security+ CE certification, and a US citizenship with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT and systems support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; additional years of experience may substitute for degree.
• Security+ CE certification required.
• Must be a US citizen with a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide information assurance oversight and support to the customer community in accordance with DoD and USAF IA programs.
• Ensure systems/networks meet security requirements and mitigate security risks.
• Support system-level certification and accreditation processes.
• Track and manage security-related problem reports and fixes.
• Assist with C&A requirements and re-accreditation processes.
• Maintain configuration management for systems/networks and hardware.
• Support creation and processing of accounts, DLP.
• Support with Classified Message Incidents.
• Review IAVM alerts, STIGs for applicable implementations.
• Maintain a comprehensive network security policy.
• Create, review and update SOPs and AF Checklists.
• Review FFRDC System Security Plans as needed.
• Assist with TEMPEST certification for Classified Processing Areas.
