Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in senior/companion care.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.
• Proficiency in caregiving techniques and daily living activities.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy.
• Familiarity with home care systems and documentation.
• Background in childcare, social work, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Competence in meal preparation for dietary needs and feeding.
• Valid ID and Social Security Card; driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing

Assisting clients with activities of daily living. Services may include, but are not limited to, activity of daily living support, personal care, bathing/toileting, medication reminding, light housekeeping, personal laundry, cooking, shopping, assistance in getting to and from appointments, maintenance of household records, and companionship.
