Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking an Unloading Rig Laborer to support crane operators and perform general labor at Price Inland Terminal and other sites in Ohio. The role involves operating heavy equipment, assisting the foreperson, and performing related tasks with attention to safety and quality.

This full-time position requires high school diploma or GED (or related experience) and may include welding/fabrication tasks, as well as occasional travel, night/weekend shifts, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 1–3 months related experience/training.
• Prior heavy equipment experience (skid steer, frontend loader, bulldozer) helpful.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the plant foreperson with daily plant operations and upkeep.
• Operate heavy equipment including front-end loader, bulldozer, and skid-steer loader.
• Perform general labor, shoveling, and assist crew as needed.
• Welding and fabrication duties are a plus but not required.
• Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond appropriately.
• Follow directions and work in a team environment.
• Perform deckhand duties such as line handling, barge and boat operations.
• Understand and adhere to OSHA & MSHA regulations.
• Operating an excavator and crane is a plus, but not required.
