Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid-level Risk Mitigation Specialist to support a Federal Government client at HQ USSOCOM, MacDill AFB, FL. The role focuses on near real-time risk assessment, data analysis, and the development of countermeasures to protect personnel, assets, and information environments involved in critical missions.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to Risk Mitigation, including recent USSOCOM Enterprise or interagency work.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
• Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
• In-depth knowledge of FOCI mitigation and related reviews/evaluations.
• Ability to lead teams researching multifaceted or critical problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide near real-time risk assessment and mitigation recommendations.
• Collaborate with CI Analysts to identify threats and risk probabilities.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for operations, new technologies, or partnerships to identify threats.
• Prepare and present risk assessments, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Liaise with counterparts in other IC agencies to deconflict activities and share threat information.
• Review after-action reports to identify systemic issues and improvements to policy and training.
