Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions in Harrisburg, PA seeks a Risk Management Specialist to support regional risk management, incident management, quality management, data analysis, and reporting activities in Harrisburg, PA.

This role will analyze incident and risk data, prepare reports for committees and forums, support critical incident investigations, and provide technical assistance related to incident management systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business, or related field, or 10 years of related professional experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in Incident Management or Risk Management, analytics, and reporting preferred.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and incident management processes.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of epidemiology.
  • Ability to analyze, chart, graph, and present data.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with statistical software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with regional and county stakeholders.
  • Experience with HCSIS, Incident Management systems, ECM, COMPASS, or similar systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and facilitate Regional Risk Management, Regional AD/County Risk Management, Regional Quality Council, and other required meetings.
  • Analyze incident management and risk management data to identify trends, risks, and areas requiring attention.
  • Prepare Risk Management (RM) and Quality Management (QM) reports for committee and forum review.
  • Complete and maintain committee and forum meeting minutes.
  • Review County Incident Management (IM) Analysis reports.
  • Draft Regional Incident Management Analysis reports.
  • Review, approve, and close Incident Management reports.
  • Participate in the Certified Investigation Peer Review Process.
  • Conduct certified investigations of critical incidents.
  • Perform demographic deletions, clearances, and COMPASS-related activities.
  • Manage HCSIS data, including incident closures, deletions, and certified investigations.
  • Provide technical assistance related to the HCSIS Incident Management subsystem.
  • Develop charts, graphs, and other data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Utilize Excel and statistical software to perform quantitative analysis and reporting.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Access, and PowerPoint to prepare reports, presentations, documentation, and meeting materials.
  • Conduct and support training, including data warehouse, ECM, Risk Management, and Incident Management training.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to regional and county stakeholders regarding risk and incident management processes.

Summary We are seeking a Risk Management Specialist to support regional risk management, incident management, quality management, data analysis, and reporting activities in Harrisburg, PA. This role will analyze incident and risk data, prepare reports for committees and forums, support critical incident investigations, and provide technical assistance related to incident management systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Incident Management/Risk Management, quantitative analysis, reporting, data management, and Microsoft Office, along with a working knowledge of statistics and data visualization. Location: Harrisburg, PA Schedule: 37.5 hours/week Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 2 days in office, 3 days remote Current In-Office Days: Monday and Tuesday Travel: Approximately 3–5 times per year for meetings or training Duration: Long-term contract Benefits: 12 paid holidays and 5 days PTO per year The hybrid telework schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
