Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance or related field
• Strong academic performance with GPA 3.0+
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with data, interpreting results and making recommendations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows
• Able to work in downtown Chicago for 12 weeks (hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Generate and reconcile key metrics for the department
• Prepare data for annual policy renewals
• Review insurance documentation and ensure compliance with agreements
• Assist in creating and distributing loss control materials for stakeholders
• Analyze risk management data and provide recommendations
• Prepare KPI reports and analyses
• Gain exposure to property, casualty, and management liability markets
• Shadow roles such as Broker, Actuary, Claims Administrator, and Underwriter
