Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Director - Risk Management in administering insurance programs and claims handling.
• Manage day-to-day interaction between brokers, adjusters, and insurers.
• Handle COI requests from customers and review COIs for contract compliance.
• Review insurance and claims related billings for approvals.
• Manage claim-related activities and liaise with Legal and internal business group on claim related matters.
• Review, assess, and process incoming claims related email and mail.
• Prepare insurance renewal applications and submissions.
• Review contractual insurance requirements and advise on appropriate language.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

The Risk Management & Claims Analyst is responsible for assisting with the overall management of insurance claims and company risk management functions. Reporting to the Director - Risk Management, this position will work closely with insurance adjusters, insurance brokers, the Safety and Legal teams, and other internal stakeholders

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Director - Risk Management in administering the Property, Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Liability insurance programs and claims handling process


• Manage day-to-day interaction between brokers, adjusters, and insurers related to risk management and claims issues.


• Handle incoming certificate of insurance requests from customers and review certificates of insurance received from vendors and suppliers for compliance with contract requirements.


• Review insurance and claims related billings for approvals.


• Manage claim-related activities; liaise with Legal and internal business group on claim related matters.


• Review, assess, and process incoming claims related email and mail for proper handling of claim files.


• Prepare insurance renewal applications and submissions.


• Review contractual insurance requirements and make recommendations on appropriate insurance language.


• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Five+ years of risk management and insurance experience required.
