Job Profile
The bank is hiring a Risk Management Analyst who will support the Bank’s enterprise-wide risk management framework across multiple risk dimensions, including credit, operational, third-party, liquidity, market, and strategic risk.
Work closely with various department heads and business line managers, including the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), to identify, assess, monitor, and help turn data into actionable insights that drive better risk-informed decisions.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (required)
Work Experience
- 2-4 plus years of relevant experience with banks or other financial institutions
- Thorough knowledge of the laws and regulations from regulatory agencies, and a solid understanding of internal controls
License/Certification
- Professional certifications in risk management, audit, project management, or investment management (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
Essential Roles-
- Monitor emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory developments impacting the Bank.
- Risk Assessment and Monitoring
- Support risk identification and assessment processes across operational, compliance, financial, and other risk categories.
Data Analysis/Reporting-
- Analyze data from business units to identify patterns, outliers, or potential areas of concern.
- Compile, clean, and analyze data from internal systems to support various risk assessments.
- Contribute to the production of risk committee reports and regulatory submissions.
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports to track key risk indicators (KRIs), operational incidents, vendor performance, and insurance coverage.
- Develop metrics and dashboards to track risk exposures and trends.
- Identify data quality issues and recommend process improvements for more accurate and timely risk reporting.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc risk reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Translate complex datasets into accessible visuals and summaries for stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
Policy/Governance Support-
- Adapt quickly to regulatory, operational, and technological changes impacting risk management.
- Assist in reviewing and updating risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.

- Contribute to internal audit and regulatory exam preparation.Identify opportunities to improve risk management processes and reporting.
- Partner with business units to embed risk management practices into day-to-day operations.
- Promote a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
- Provide support in risk assessments for new products, vendors, or strategic initiatives.
- Support projects and initiatives designed to strengthen the Bank’s risk posture.

- Independent judgment with strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills are needed to handle the coordination of multiple priorities.
- Superior Microsoft Office skills required, with particular emphasis on outstanding PowerPoint presentation and Excel skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
