Citizens Bank is launching the Risk Management Development Program (RMDP), a two-year, full-time program designed to build leaders in Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance and Risk Modeling through three rotations and a capstone project.

You’ll rotate every six months, receive mentorship from senior risk leaders, participate in Early Career Development Programming, and graduate into a full-time Corporate Risk role.

Qualifications

• To be successful, demonstrate analytical and critical thinking, data analysis, and strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with expected graduation May 2027 and a minimum GPA of 3.00 (3.50 preferred).
• Knowledge of relational databases and exposure to statistical software (SAS, Stata, R, SPSS, MATLAB) preferred.
• Internship or corporate exposure in financial services is preferred and familiarity with Generative AI concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete four 6‑month rotations in Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance and Risk Modeling.
• Collaborate on a Capstone project with cohort and present findings to risk leadership, including the Chief Risk Officer.
• Participate in Early Career Development Programming (ECDP) with formal orientation, workshops, networking, and community activities.
