Job summary

TechDigital Group seeks a Senior/Lead Architect to own end-to-end Finance & Risk architecture across corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, and investment portfolios. The role blends hands-on delivery with strategic roadmapping and governance across data, APIs, events, and cloud storage.

You will bring deep data architecture, financial-services domain fluency, and practical AI skills to deliver governed, auditable solutions while shaping executive-level decisions and architectures.

Qualifications

• Senior/lead-level architect overseeing finance/risk initiatives from concept to working prototypes.
• Deep data and information architecture including data models, lineage, governance.
• Fluent with APIs, event streaming (Kafka), ETL/ELT, data virtualization, Lakehouse, and cloud storage such as NetApp S3.
• Financial-services domain depth across risk, compliance, finance, and regulatory contexts.
• AI-embedded delivery using GenAI, LLM/RAG and knowledge graphs with governance and security.
• Strong communicator with executive presence, capable of presenting to Architecture Review Boards.
• 7+ years in engineering/solution architecture and 5+ years in financial-services domain; TOGAF familiarity.

Job description

• Senior or lead-level architect and hands-on practitioner, able to take initiatives from concept through design, architecture, and working prototypes rather than strategy alone.
• Deep data and information architecture: conceptual, logical, canonical, and semantic data models; authoritative systems of record and reusable data products; source-to-target mapping, data lineage, reconciliation, auditability, metadata, and governance.
• Modern integration and platform fluency across APIs, event streaming (Kafka), ETL/ELT, data virtualization, Lakehouse consumption, and cloud or object storage such as NetApp S3.
• Financial-services domain depth across risk, compliance, finance, and regulatory contexts, with the ability to translate business and regulatory needs into scalable architecture.
• AI-embedded delivery: applies GenAI, agentic AI, LLM/RAG, and knowledge-graph techniques to real use cases and rapid prototypes, while keeping AI governed, explainable, and compliant with Responsible AI, Model Risk, privacy, and security expectations.
• Strong communicator and influencer with executive presence, comfortable presenting to senior leaders and Architecture Review Boards and operating independently in ambiguous, matrixed environments.
• Typically 7+ years in engineering and solution architecture, with 5+ years in a relevant financial-services domain, and familiarity with an enterprise architecture framework such as TOGAF.

Role: Finance & Risk Lead Architect (Supporting Finance & Risk Architecture) - A hands-on Lead Architect supporting mission-critical Finance and Risk initiatives across Corporate Financial Accounting, CIB Capital Markets Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, and Investment Portfolio.

• Own end-to-end architecture for Finance and Risk initiatives, including sub-ledger modernization, corporate accounting, CIB capital-markets accounting, regulatory reporting, and investment portfolio.
• Define current-, target-, interim-, and transition-state architectures with actionable roadmaps and reusable patterns across data, applications, APIs, events, and cloud or object storage.
• Advance information architecture using authoritative sources, data products, lineage, governance, reconciliation, auditability, and accounting-event models.
• Bring working knowledge of regulatory reporting (Basel III and Basel III Endgame, CCAR, FR Y-9C, FFIEC, Broker-Dealer, and Axiom), plus financial-accounting event processing, close cycles, and GL/Sub-Ledger integration.
• Apply AI/ML and agentic AI to accounting, external reporting, reconciliation, controls, and data-quality use cases.
• Typically 5+ years in Corporate Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Investment Portfolio, or a closely related finance domain, in addition to the common architecture bar above.
