Aon plc is seeking a Head of Risk Finance Consulting to define and deliver the regional risk capital strategy across the United States. You will direct client engagements, shape pricing and risk structures, and lead analytics initiatives to drive capital efficiency and resilience across multinational clients.

The role is hybrid with flexibility to work from U.S. offices and remotely, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating across advisory, broking, and analytics teams.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any US Aon office.

What The Day Will Look Like

As Head of Risk Finance Consulting, you will set the strategic direction for Aon's risk finance proposition across the region. Combining client engagement, business growth, innovation, and leadership, you will help large multinational organisations better understand, quantify, and finance their risk exposures, connecting clients to specialist broking expertise to execute on complex and innovative deal structures.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Owning the Risk Financing strategy and growth agenda across the region.
• Partnering with colleagues across Commercial Risk Solutions, Industry Practices and Client Leadership teams to bring innovative risk financing solutions to clients.
• Supporting business development activity, including major client pursuits and tenders, by articulating the value and differentiation of Aon's risk financing capabilities.
• Driving the development and deployment of next-generation analytics tools and solutions, including Risk Financing Analytics (RFA).
• Providing thought leadership and delivering risk insights that help clients make better business decisions.
• Building, leading, mentoring and developing a team of highly skilled risk financing professionals.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Significant experience in risk financing, analytics, capital modelling, or risk consulting gained within a consulting, insurance, reinsurance or related professional services environment.
• Demonstrated success leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
• Strong partner management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior executives, clients, and business leaders.
• Highly numerate with a degree in a quantitative field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant professional designation would be helpful.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $285,000 to $325,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
