Job summary

BNY Mellon invites high-potential undergraduate students to join a 10-week Summer Internship Program within Risk and Compliance. Interns gain hands-on experience across global teams, applying risk frameworks and governance practices while exploring responsible AI and data-driven controls.

Participants receive mentorship, project exposure aligned to firm practices, and professional development designed to accelerate career readiness in financial services.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with focus on business or technology.
• Graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or better.
• No sponsorship required for employment in the country of application.

Responsibilities

• Support risk and compliance activities by applying frameworks, policies, and oversight across the firm.
• Analyze information and identify trends in risk management across business areas.
• Assist with reviews, reporting, and documentation for governance and responsible AI oversight.
• Gain exposure to risk areas including credit, market, liquidity, operational, technology, and AI.
