Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

As a first line risk professional, this detail-oriented and highly organized Risk Committees and Logistics Officer will support the effective operation of risk forums across the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating forum logistics, maintaining documentation and compliance standards, managing action items, and ensuring all materials are prepared, structured, and archived appropriately. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong communication and project coordination skills, and has experience supporting governance or risk-related meetings.


Responsibilities

Forum Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate recurring risk forum meetings, including invitations, room bookings, and virtual meeting logistics
  • Serve as the central point of contact for forum participants and stakeholders

Agenda and Documentation Management:

  • Develop and distribute meeting agendas in coordination with forum leads and stakeholders
  • Capture accurate meeting notes, decisions, escalations, and action items
  • Track and follow up on open action items to ensure timely resolution and closure

Material Preparation:

  • Develop and maintain templates and documentation standards to support consistent forum operations
  • Consolidate presentation decks and meeting materials submitted by various stakeholders
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure consistency and completeness of submitted content

Compliance and Governance:

  • Identify process improvement opportunities for meeting preparation and follow-up workflows
  • Ensure forum operations adhere to internal compliance requirements, governance frameworks, and documentation retention policies
  • Maintain an organized and accessible digital filing structure for all meeting materials
  • Ensure timely archiving and retrieval of materials for audits or reference

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk Management, Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Financial Services, First Line Risk

Preferred Skill(s):

  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills,
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving,
  • Ability to work effectively with associates, senior management, and various committees
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with documentation management and process standardization is a plus

If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $69,900 and $93,200. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
