Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks a Risk and Claims Manager to lead risk management and claims oversight from our Draper, UT office. You will design strategies to minimize losses, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with insurers and internal departments.

This role reports to the HR department and focuses on robust risk governance and performance reporting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in risk management and claims administration.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in risk management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential risks to the organization.
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and reporting.
• Collaborate with departments to implement risk management practices.
• Manage all aspects of claims processing, including workers’ compensation and general liability.
• Ensure claims are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Review claims for compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Liaise with insurance providers regarding claims status and disputes.
• Generate comprehensive reports on risk management and claims data.
• Maintain documentation of all claims and risk management activities.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Present reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations.
• Develop and update policies and procedures related to claims and risk management.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on risk management practices.
• Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes affecting claims management.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for risk and claims inquiries.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate discussions on risk management strategies with department heads.
• Build relationships with external partners, including insurers and legal advisors.
