Active Top Secret Clearance Required (Must Be Eligible/Willing to Obtain SCI)
Must Haves:
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- 5+ years of professional experience (federal) and a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a similar field (Degree can be substituted with 4 years of additional experience)
- Experience in cybersecurity risk assessments and supply chain or risk management efforts to provide an operational understanding of the cybersecurity program within DoD
- Experience leveraging collaboration forums (such as MS Teams) for knowledge management and to enhance team delivery effectiveness
- Experience with writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondence and/or material (e.g., memorandums, white papers) to support decision-making
- Ability to brief and collaborate with executive/ senior leadership
Plusses:
- Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications
- Knowledge of Joint instructions and manuals
- Knowledge of DoW policy around non-traditional IT Cybersecurity, including ICT-SCRM and C-SCRM
- Experience facilitating meetings (e.g., working groups, conferences) and associated pre and post-meeting activities
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives where goals and parameters may evolve over time.
- Experience with supporting DoD-level organizations, including Action Officer duties, coordination, and staffing processes or tools

Insight Global is hiring a Risk Assessment Analyst, sitting hybrid in Alexandria, VA, to support senior DoD leadership in advancing cybersecurity and supply chain risk management across the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). This individual will operate in an action officer-type role, contributing to cyber risk assessments, developing executive-level deliverables, and supporting high-visibility initiatives that strengthen overall cybersecurity posture. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, strong writing skills, and the ability to synthesize technical and policy information into clear, decision-ready products while leveraging tools to maintain and manage deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cybersecurity risk assessments focused on supply chain and enterprise risk management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs, assess compliance, and deliver mission-aligned products
- Draft executive-level materials (briefings, memorandums, white papers) for senior leadership decision-making
- Brief and communicate updates to high-level stakeholders
- Support knowledge management efforts, leveraging tools such as MS Teams and AI-enabled technologies to organize, maintain, and share deliverables across multiple environments
- Track and organize deliverables to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and timeliness
