Ladders is seeking a Risk Analyst Senior - P&C Risk to join a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. The role supports enterprise risk with a focus on property and casualty risk, shaping how risks are identified, assessed, documented, and communicated across the organization.

Remote - US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship. The role partners with governance leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen controls, influence risk decisions, and improve reporting and stress testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related education/experience.
• 6 years of risk management or related experience in banking/insurance.
• Advanced degree or designation in risk management preferred.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Ability to influence business outcomes and resolve conflicts.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Risk Analyst Senior - P\&C Risk to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will support enterprise risk efforts with a focus on property and casualty risk, helping shape how risks are identified, assessed, documented, and communicated across the organization. The position will partner closely with governance leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to strengthen controls, influence risk decisions, and improve reporting and stress testing practices.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $103,450 – $197,730 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify, assess, and document risks and controls
• Communicate risk assessment results to governance committees and leadership
• Implement new risk policies and practices to manage risks effectively
• Enhance strategies and tools for measuring and reporting risks
• Utilize analytical material to influence solution strategies with cross-functional teams
• Contribute to cross-functional teams to mitigate current and emerging risks
• Formulate stress test plans and evaluate results in partnership with business stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
• 6 years of risk management, regulatory, or operations experience in banking, insurance, financial services, or related areas
• Advanced degree or designation in Risk Management or a related field with 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in a complex institution or highly matrixed environment
• Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and ability to influence business outcomes
