Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, management and strategic direction with a focus on an exceptional client service experience and financial success
    • Translate firm vision and strategy into an actionable business plan, set objectives and monitor progress
    • Team with marketing to develop sales and marketing plans, pursue expansion within existing client base and new clients, and actively participate in proposals
    • Coordinate firm resources to deliver the best products and services to clients
    • Ensure team members receive meaningful training, challenging work, timely feedback and positive recognition
    • Oversee profitability, including personnel utilization, appropriate service rates and timely fee collection
  • Work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and manage financial and operational risks
    • Develop in‑depth knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries through direct interaction across multiple engagement aspects
    • Think independently and strategically to recommend business and process improvements based on client objectives
    • Provide strategic business advice by supporting implementation of new processes and controls addressing key risks
    • Assess, manage and optimize business risk across operational audit, enterprise risk management (ERM) and SOX compliance
    • Review clients' processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify gaps and communicate recommendations
  • Be responsible for significant new business development, including identifying, sourcing, pursuing and winning risk advisory opportunities
  • Produce comprehensive executive summaries and final reports for delivery to clients, documenting engagement work papers per industry‑accepted internal audit methodologies
  • Act as a valued business advisor, build relationships, and communicate effectively to provide superior client service
  • Lead professional and effective presentations to internal and external audiences
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or a related program
  • CPA, CIA, or equivalent designation(s) required
  • Ten (10)+ years of experience in risk advisory, audit, business process reengineering and/or internal controls; internal audit experience in Life Sciences preferred
  • Five (5)+ years of supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates
  • Successful track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice, including team, client base and revenue management
  • Proven track record of new business development
  • Ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service, and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, ethical knowledge and urgency for quality and timely project completion
  • Ability to travel as needed for client engagements
Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $201,810 to $382,600. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
