Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced HCC Risk Adjustment Medical Coder to support Medicare risk adjustment initiatives. You will code 2 charts per hour and ensure accuracy in coding and record reviews.

You will review medical records, apply ICD-10 guidelines, and meet quality standards. Must have Medicare HCC experience and CCS/CPC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medicare HCC experience is required.
• ICD-10 experience required.
• 2 years experience as a risk adjustment coder.
• CCS certification (AHIMA) or CPC certification (AAPC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate HCC risk adjustment coding for Medicare populations.
• Review and code medical records in accordance with ICD and risk adjustment guidelines.
• Meet established quality standards and productivity metrics.
• Complete coding work with an average throughput of approximately 2 charts per hour.
