Job summary

The Walsh Group in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an Assistant Project Manager II to support planning, scheduling, budgeting and coordination on a major construction project. You will supervise project administration and engineers, manage safety, quality control and change orders, and help keep subcontractors and field teams aligned.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of construction experience and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred; relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to establish relationships and lead people.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, scheduling and coordination.
• Supervising work of project administration and engineers.
• Safety and quality control management.
• Accurate forecasting and management of budgets.
• Change order management.
• Managing critical subcontractors and project engineers.
• Attend weekly owner meetings and support the Project Manager.
