Job summary

CI Design, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Interior Designer to join our team focused on Science and Tech & Mission Critical projects. You will support space planning, finish selections, and interior architecture from concept to construction in a Raleigh office.

The role requires experience with Revit, InDesign, and Escape/SketchUp, plus strong communication and organizational skills. NCIDQ certification or on-track status is preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design/interior architecture from a CIDA accredited College or University.
• 0-3 years related experience with interiors; proficient in Revit, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with building systems, codes and ADA requirements; strong space planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist ideation, conceptual, and schematic design developments to support client goals, budgets and timelines.
• Partake in design, production, and construction documentation phases using Revit.
• Participate in FF&E, color palettes, furniture systems, fabrics, lighting selections.
• Create 3D designs and communicate concepts via 3D models (Revit/SketchUp).
• Develop preliminary space plans; assist senior designers with interior details.
• Contribute to construction administration, RFIs, submittals, and site visits.
