Job summary

State of Nebraska's Supreme Court - Agency 5 is seeking a part-time RISE Program Specialist to support adjudicated youth through a skill-based curriculum in Lincoln, NE. The role requires up to 20 hours per week and 900 service hours over the term Aug 1 2026–Jul 31 2027.

The position offers a living stipend of $1,485 per month and an education award upon completion. AmeriCorps members work in school, probation offices, or community sites, in-person or virtual, with training and development

Qualifications

• Completion of 48 hours of college coursework from an accredited institution is encouraged.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in social sciences, criminal justice, education, or related field.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident required; background checks mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Teach youth educational-based skills using a pre-written curriculum.
• Host in-person groups at schools, probation offices, or community sites.
• Collect and submit school attendance data to grant-defined performance measures.
