Job summary

SiFive is seeking a Datacenter System Software Architect to design high-performance RISC-V Linux systems for datacenters. This role involves collaborating on software architecture, engaging with customers, and guiding the development of RISC-V software stacks. The ideal candidate will have experience in defining server requirements, developing low-level code in C, and strong project leadership skills. Qualifications

• Experience with key application workloads including distributed databases and AI/ML.
• Experience writing and reviewing architecture specifications for hardware and software.
• Strong project leadership skills to develop roadmaps and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Architect systems for hyperscaler deployments based on RISC-V.
• Engage with customers to understand functional and performance requirements.
• Help guide the development of RISC-V software and firmware stacks.

Skills

Defining requirements for x86 or ARM servers

Developing low level code in C

Understanding of computer architecture

Project leadership skills

Experience with RISC-V ISA
