Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Radiology IT manager to oversee RIS/PACs applications, coordinate deployments, and lead IT initiatives across radiology. Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Able to analyze data, prioritize workload and have proven decision-making skills.
• Proven project planning work experience for the design and implementation of new/updated Radiology Information Systems and a strong understanding of radiological workflows and the effect of information systems on these workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day applications-level support of RIS/PACs systems and all other image-based systems (DR, CR, CT, etc.).
• Plans, coordinates, and provides overall direction in the daily operations of the RIS/PACS areas to ensure quality services.
• Oversees operation of Radiology Information Systems including billing/coding and scheduling.
