Job Overview

Job Summary: The Lucy- Laborer Renewables (Non-driver) will perform general labor duties to support the construction and maintenance of renewable energy projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing worksites, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment without the requirement of operating company vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and installation of solar panels, wind turbine components, and other renewable energy infrastructure.
• Perform general site cleanup and organization, including debris removal, sweeping, and material handling.
• Dig trenches, excavate foundations, and prepare ground for construction activities using hand tools.
• Load and unload materials and equipment, moving them to designated areas on the job site.
• Operate small hand tools and power tools as directed and trained.
• Follow all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support skilled craftspeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, ironworkers) with various tasks.
• Assist with the setup and dismantling of temporary structures and equipment.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Qualifications

• Prior experience in a construction or industrial labor role is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and climbing.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.).
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
