Job summary

Clark County School District in Las Vegas is seeking an Instructional Assistant for the Resource Room program at West Career Tech Academy. This part-time role supports students with instructional assistance during a nine-month period, within a day program that emphasizes classroom support.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license or state ID, and CPR/AED certification maintained for the assignment. A Language Proficiency Test is preferred.

Education, Training, and Experience

High school graduation or other equivalent (General Education Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).

Licenses and Certifications

• A valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card.
• Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted. A copy of the front and back of the CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful completion of the Language Proficiency Test, as, measured by a Districtapproved third-party administrator.
