Dewberry seeks a Right of Way Mapping Technician to join the Central Florida surveying and mapping team. You will assist in CAD/map preparation, review field notes, and support boundary and description surveys. Remote, hybrid, and onsite opportunities are available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Three years of CAD experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma required, minimum.
  • Strong mathematical skills are essential.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a driving record check.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol test and be dependable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Mapping manager with CAD and map preparation.
  • Review field notes for information to prepare maps.
  • Prepare alignment references and CCR forms.
  • Perform deed, plat and document research, title and easement review.
  • Work safely and follow safety regulations.
  • Prepare Right of Way Map, Sketch of Description and Boundary deliverables.

Dewberry is currently seeking a Right of Way Mapping Technicianto join our Surveying and Mapping department in the Central Florida. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment as a member of a survey department, assisting in the performance of Right of Way Control Surveys, Right-of Way Maps, Sketches of Description and Boundary and Specific Purpose surveys. The position has opportunity for advancement for motivated individuals willing to learn the skills and technology required. Remote, hybrid and onsite opportunities are available for the right candidate.

  • Prepare alignment references and Certified Corner Record (CCR) forms.
  • Perform deed, plat & document research, title & easement review.
  • Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations.
  • Prepare Control Survey, Right of Way Map, Sketch of Description and Boundary survey deliverables.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Three (3) years of CAD experience preferred.
  • Must have a High School Diploma (Minimum).
  • Must have strong mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to communication effectively.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol test.
  • Must be dependable.
