Job summary

Walker Brothers in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Helper to perform level rigging tasks, operate tractor trailers, and support site operations at customer locations. The role requires physical stamina, safety awareness, and the ability to follow directions under pressure.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in related work and can obtain required safety certifications. A high school diploma or GED is expected, with potential travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Must have 2 forms of ID validating citizenship.
• Medical Card required for driving requirements of Class C license.
• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Obtains necessary training and safety certifications to complete tasks.
• Attends rigging class as required.
• Works with Foreman and crews to move machinery and items of size and weight.
• Attaches pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures using bolts and clamps.
• Controls movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces using appropriate gear.
• Dismantles and stores rigging equipment after use.
• Reads and creates lifting plans and uses proper rigging techniques.
