Qualifications

• High School with 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or military experience.
• Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience.
• Internal candidates must have a Superior Attendance and Disciplinary Record.
• Candidate cannot have more than 3 unexcused absences in the last 180 day period.
• Candidate cannot have any safety DANS that result in a disciplinary layoff in last 180 day period.
• Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semiskilled and skilled trades personnel according to their skill, experience and job knowledge.
• Supervises and trains employees to improve quality and quantity of work perfomed.
• Recommends training to enhance skill and productivity of employees, and assists in development of training procedures.
• Responsible for manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that have a significant financial impact on the company's perfomance.
• Monitors job and budget performance for all shifts.
