Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled rigging associate to assemble and rig hoisting equipment on construction sites in Wisconsin. You will load, transport, and attach cables, pulleys, and hooks, directing crane operators to move loads safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include setting up rigs, performing basic maintenance, and observing all safety rules. Prior experience in rigging and crane operations is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of standard rigging concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Works under supervision with established guidelines.
• Reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

• Loads, transports, unloads and selects cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks and sheaves per load.
• Attaches pulley/blocks to overhead structures with bolts and clamps.
• Attaches load to crane hook using grappling devices.
• Directs crane operator using hand signals or radio for safe hoisting.
• Sets up braces and rigs hoisting equipment with hand tools.
