Job description

The Installation Supervisor is a working supervisor with responsibilities that include on-site leadership, work assignment, and prioritization of daily activities as directed by the Project Management staff while actively participating in the installation of theatrical rigging equipment. Projects include pipe grids, counterweight systems, fire curtains, and rigging automation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead the work of other installation staff.
• Plan and implement the installation of rigging equipment and drapery.
• Layout, install, repair and troubleshoot custom fabricated equipment.
• Travel Required.
• Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met.
• Maintain required project documentation.
• Ensure that the installation team are fully aware of their tasks.
• Check and double check over installed components.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Responsible for understanding the rigging and all safety requirements involved in the installation of devices.
• Read and notate field drawings.
• Assign work, and assume responsibility for install team daily goals.
• Work well with other trades and clientele.
• Troubleshoot difficult system challenges effectively.
• Full compliance with company and customer safety programs.
• Use and safely operate power tools.
• Serve as a liaison between our customers and company.

Requirements

Looking for a strong candidate to provide leadership across all aspects of installation for theatrical rigging.

Enforce stringent onsite safety standards to include OSHA, PPE, and other site-specific requirements.

Be able to work with Microsoft suite of products.
