Qualifications

• Rigger Journeyman with 4+ years of experience.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience.
• Must be able to inspect and enforce safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates workers erecting and operating machinery for hoists and cranes.
• Directs splicing of ropes and cables for hoisting slings.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders for supervision area.
• Maintains time records and ensures safety regulations are followed.
• Plans work sequences to meet construction schedules with equipment and personnel.
• Assesses worker-hour requirements and adjusts staffing as needed.
• Coordinates movement of equipment and materials using signals and directions.
• Performs regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with SIC policies.
