Guy M Turner is seeking a hands-on Rigging Foreman/Supervisor in Durham, NC. You will lead work crews handling lifting and moving of materials and machines using hoists, cranes, and forklifts.

The role often requires long hours with weekend/holiday shifts, and a strict safety-first approach is essential. The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years of rigging or heavy lift experience and 2–3 years of Foreman supervision.

Competenze

• Must have 1-3 years of rigging or heavy lift experience.
• Must have 2-3 years Foreman experience.
• Must be proficient with basic computer skills.
• Must have proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in all rigging and lifting activities, to ensure safety procedures and method statements.
• Assists and determines the proper method of lifting equipment for each assigned project.
• Conducts basic loading of heavy lift projects by rigging customer equipment and ensuring proper use of each equipment method.
• Directs crew to move equipment to and from work areas.
• Optimizes resources (manpower, equipment, materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the project.
• Ensures crews are supplied with tools, equipment, and materials; prevents misuse of equipment, materials and tools.
• Reads, interprets, and follows procedures; reads specs and drawings; keeps records of work.
• Specifies locations for movement of machinery using various lifting methods.
• Enforces OSHA safety procedures and company rules.
