Job summary

Waymaker Resource Group is seeking a Rigging Engineer to support complex lifting, rigging, and equipment handling activities. You will develop engineered lifting solutions, evaluate loads, and coordinate with field personnel to ensure safe, efficient execution across projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering or related field, plus experience with load calculations, rigging hardware, and interpreting technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in rigging engineering, heavy lifting, equipment handling, or related engineering activities.
• Knowledge of load calculations, lifting equipment, rigging hardware, and engineered lift plans.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and field requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review rigging plans, lifting studies, and engineered lift solutions.
• Perform load calculations and evaluate lifting equipment, rigging configurations, and structural requirements.
• Assess equipment positioning, load movement, and lifting methods to support project execution.
• Coordinate with field supervision, project management, equipment operators, and engineering teams.
• Conduct site assessments and field walkdowns to verify lifting requirements and site conditions.
• Ensure lifting and rigging activities comply with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and approved procedures.
