Job summary

Guy M Turner in Rock Hill, SC, seeks dependable and experienced Class A CDL rigging drivers. This role blends driving with hands-on rigging of heavy equipment, not a typical driving job.

You will join the rigging crew to move and install machinery, operate forklifts and aerial lifts, and work in varied weather and site conditions.

Pay is DOE with bonuses including a $500 referral bonus and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs without assistance.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and all shifts.
• Willing to travel out of town occasionally.
• Experience hauling Step deck, Lowboy, and/or Flatbed trailers.

Responsibilities

Seeking dependable and experienced individuals for Class A CDL Rigging Driver positions. This is not a typical driving job - in addition to operating a commercial vehicle, you will be an active member of the rigging crew, working hands-on to move and install heavy equipment and machinery. If you're looking to sit behind the wheel all day, this is not the position for you.

Pay is dependent on experience (DOE).

Job Duties Include

• Working in both inside and outside environments to support the movement of heavy equipment and machinery


• Participating directly in rigging operations, including the setup and relocation of industrial equipment


• Operating fork trucks, scissor lifts, and man lifts


• Performing tasks in varied weather conditions and job site environments


• Comfortable working at elevated heights and in confined spaces


• Collaborating with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)


• Must currently be able to lift up to 75 lbs without assistance


• Must be able to work all shifts, including nights and weekends


• Must be able to travel out of town on occasion


• Previous CDL Driving experience hauling specific types of Trailers is required for this position: Step deck, Lowboy, and/or Flatbed trailers


• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work in a variety of conditions


• Familiarity with forklifts, aerial lifts, and other job-related equipment (not required, but a plus)

This is a physical, hands-on role. Drivers are fully involved in the rigging work, not just transportation. You will be expected to contribute on-site, not just behind the wheel.
