The role requires teamwork and strict safety practices in environments where loads weigh hundreds of thousands of pounds. On-the-job training applies; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 5 additional years of related education/experience, or an associate degree with 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience.
• May require certification.

Responsibilities

• Riggers must move heavy loads using equipment designed for lifting, and work as a cohesive team in potentially dangerous environments.
