Responsibilities

• Evaluate weight, size, and center of gravity to plan safe lifts.
• Select and prepare rigging gear for loads and machines.
• Secure loads to cranes or derricks and protect edges.
• Inspect lifting tools and gear for wear and defects.
• Direct crane operators using precise hand signals or radio.
• Assist in erecting, leveling, and dismantling cranes and platforms.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols.
